Why We Started
Pawsitive Doggy began with a simple moment that many dog owners can relate to.
Like a lot of people, we love our dogs like family. But when it came time to trim their nails, it always felt stressful. Using clippers made us nervous because we were afraid of accidentally cutting the quick and hurting them. Our dogs would sense that tension too, which made grooming even harder.
We realized we couldn’t be the only dog owners feeling this way. So we started looking for a better, gentler solution that would make nail care safer and less stressful for both dogs and their owners.
That search is what led to Pawsitive Doggy.
Our Story
Pawsitive Doggy was started in California by dog lovers who wanted to make everyday pet care a little easier.
We’re not a big corporation or a giant pet brand. We’re a small team that believes the products you use with your dog should feel safe, simple, and trustworthy.
Instead of selling hundreds of random pet items, we focus on carefully chosen products that solve real problems dog owners face. Our nail grinder was selected because it helps turn one of the most stressful grooming tasks into something calm and manageable at home.
Every product we offer is chosen with one question in mind:
“Would we feel comfortable using this with our own dogs?”
If the answer isn’t yes, it doesn’t make it into our store.
